Belgium Experiencing Indian Summer

Belgium is currently experiencing a mild beginning of the cold season, with temperatures averaging between 15 to 22 degrees in some parts of the country

Should we be happy its warmer...

These above average temperatures are said to have both, a positive and negative effect on the Belgian landscape. Experts say the length of the warmer temperatures has led to vegetation remaining greener for longer, compensating for the dryness experienced during the summer months. On the negative side, some experts worry that if the temperatures do not drop to the seasonal average, this might affect nature and animals, such as migrating birds and certain mammals.

"Will we pay for all this good weather?"
